The Big Apple will knock your Canadian socks off. There is way too much to do and way to much to see. The first time New Yorker needs to soak in the insane architecture that makes Manhattan the concrete jungle that it is. You can take helicopter tours or free ferry rides to check out the sites. After the shock has worn off, grab a bite to eat in little Italy. A trip to New York wouldn’t be complete with out hitting the shops and there is no shortage of that, no matter what the budget. You’ll have tons of time to live it up by hitting Central Park, Yankee Stadium and the booming meat packing district where the party goes on all night.

With two weeks to kill, you can map out Cali in style. Sloping streets and the Golden Gate Bridge are must see attractions in San Francisco. Heading south L.A. features Disneyland (still the happiest place on earth), Hollywood, and countless beaches. The San Diego Zoo let’s you see creatures from all over the globe that you probably won’t get a chance to see in the wild. If you feel adventures, cross the border to Tijuana, Mexico. Have some authentic Mexican food and do some bargaining with the local shop keeps. Since we’re crossing borders, head to Nevada for good times in Vegas. Now that’s a wicked summer!

Ladies and Gentlemen, fasten your seat belts for the ultimate summer adventure. Get a group of peeps who love to travel as much as you do. Draw up some ground rules and then set up the game plan for a journey of a life time. Pick a coast and 5 lucky cities that will feel the wrath of your summer vacation. Pool your funds to take care of fixed costs such as hotel, fuel, travelling snacks and anything else you will share as a group. Set aside plenty of driving time and do your homework on accommodations. Spend 4-5 days in each city hanging our with each other and creating something you will talk about till the day you die. Life is too short and even shorter when not lived. So do yourself a favour this summer, enjoy your youth and travel. Don’t read about culture, experience it, share it.
